Researching Components of Empirical Decision Analysis for Ship Transit in the Arctic. I examine Arctic shipping from the standpoints of operations research and data science. Back-casting techniques are used in the research to conduct an empirical data analysis of these parts using data from 2010 to 2019 to establish a baseline for risk, decision variables, and policy effects.
